TRIP ORGANIZATION
Are you considering undertaking a relevant kind of trip ?
I made this document to keep some notes for my future trips, and to share my experience with others interested in relevant traveling. This does not answer all questions. It gives you the most important information you may need to undertake your trip. I then mention the most important sources of information that I know can help organize and personalize your trip. |

SOME COMMENTS AND THOUGHTS :
These documentaries are very relevant to almost everything I want to do and that interest me.
- realize my dream (am doing this now, a bit differently than planned, but doing much more than I ever dreamed)
- become independent / make my living
- make myself helpful / contribute to solving essential problems
There may sometimes be some exaggeration in the way some items are communicated in “The Earth From Above”. However, I have absolutely no doubt that we have to make some serious changes if we want to make sure that future generations will not lack essentials due to our lack of conscience and effort.
If I was able to work full time, my priority would be to make my living to become independent and reach some of my personal objectives and dreams. The next task I give a lot of importance to is to make myself useful. Ideally I would like to be able to combine both together. I could dedicate 100 years working on this without getting bored.
For 2 billion people in the world, one dollar per day would give them critically essential items they lack. In the most developed countries everything is very expensive and many people lack important items. In developed countries we now also live in a world where we more and more push our body to the limit and thereby open the door to something that can seriously affect our health.
One film I would like to find is one that explains how our brain and body in general is made and the fact that we all need something different depending on how we were built. What I am living has led me to taking some time to get information about many things, though never in detail. I am most importantly more and more sensitive about how complicated many things are to resolve and how different each person is individually.
The illness I underwent, and the fact that I have lived with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), am dyslexic and slightly colorblind, have contributed to making me become more conscious and sensitive about how differently we are all made. We are all very different, have different needs and different limits to respect. One thing I learned is that the world population is a detail compared to the number of neurons we individually have in our brain (approx 100 billion). They are all interconnected in very different ways for each person. Even brothers and sisters can be very different (trust me ;-). We (including doctors) only know a fraction about how it all functions.
Having begun to understand this, the most important conclusion I come to is "Live YOUR Life". There is a lot to say about this. I do not exclude one day writing a book about it. There are still some items I need to better understand and accept. The essential however is that many people give opinions about what we should and how we should to things. We are all different and understanding an other persons feelings (even our own) is complex. So, get opinions and ideas but seriously filter them and most importantly, listen to yourself.
